Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz in Blow (2001)

Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz in Blow (2001)

Penelope Cruz in Vanilla Sky
This is one of the most perfect scenes in a movie ever. I really can not describe how heavily it effects me. Vanilla Sky is one of those movies about life, about how short it is, about the good and bad times we have and the memories we create, the nostalgia, and the love. And all of it culminates here, right on Penelope Cruz’s face. I had always liked Penelope, but after I saw this, I was blown away by her talent. I think she deserved an Oscar for this. It was a perfect performance.
Of course right after this, she smiles and runs off… “It’s the little things.”
