Oh my God, I loved this film. I’m not doing a full review because it’s really hard to describe the magic of this movie without giving anything away. Just go into it without knowing anything and let it take you on an adventure. I am a huge Woody Allen fan and love almost all of his movies, so you think i’d be used to the awesomeness by now, but I was taken by surprise by Midnight In Paris. It felt old and new, like it’s the same Woody stuff we always love with some different things mixed in. His writing is as clever as ever here. As for the cast, it’s Owen Wilson’s movie with scene-stealing performances from Kathy Bates, Adrien Brody, Allison Pill, and Marion Cotillard; Rachel McAdams also gives her first mean girl performance since Regina George.
I hope this film will get a wider release - when it comes to your city, see it immediately!
