Wonderful cast and interesting directing style but I couldn't find a way to actually care about any of the characters or anyone in the story, ya know? That being said, one movie I've seen recently is Young Adult and thought it was one of the more underrated movies of last year. Patton Oswalt and Charlize Theron destroyed me in that film. Thoughts? Seen either?!

I actually can’t believe I haven’t seen Young Adult yet. I can’t even tell you how much I am dying to see it (HUGE Diablo Cody & Jason Reitman fan) but I was so busy during the holidays and it left theatres so quickly and I wasn’t able to get a screener and the only version available online is a crappy cam and I feel like the movie is too good for me to watch a bad version so I am waiting WITH BATED BREATH for it to come out. AHH.

I LOVED The Ides of March. I did a review of it about a month ago. Like 20 minutes in I was bored by it and feeling the same way you felt but then it really gripped me. I felt a lot for Gosling’s character and completely felt his inner turmoil as if it was happening to me. He was so amazing in that role. Honestly once it got going I was so into it and I think the end was incredible. I really wish I had seen the play when it was on broadway cause that would have been such an intense theatre experience.
