I love you all dearly and with an extreme amount of passion, but stop sending me these:
╔══════════════ ೋღ☃ღೋ ══════════════╗ ☼ If you are awesome, someone will put this on your page ☼ ╚══════════════ ೋღ☃ღೋ ══════════════╝
Or i’m closing my ask box again. Just because I want to make out with all of you does not mean I want to comb through my ask box removing these things. MWAH, though, seriously. If I had the time I would put it all on your pages too.
They’re really too different to compare. Rodriguez definitely stuck to the theme more, whereas QT abandoned the film scratches and grain after the first reel. Sucks you missed it in theaters. Most fun I’ve ever had at the movies (shitfaced).
The fact that your name is “welcometothisblogbitch” just made me cackle. I am easily amused. Anyway, I can’t even imagine the magic of seeing Grindhouse while drunk. the only movie I’ve been drunk for was The Princess and the Frog cause my friend and I are really classy and got wasted before our special pre-screening of it. It seemed like the most complex plot ever at the time tbh.
Have you ever enjoyed a film for the first time, even though knowing a lot of major spoilers?
Yeah. Some asshole ruined Fight Club for me, which was traumatizing. I usually avoid spoilers like the fucking plague, but he just kind of threw it into the conversation when movies weren’t even being discussed at all. Needless to say, we don’t speak anymore.
It was still an extremely enjoyable watch the first time. I was intrigued the entire time watching it and have been every time I have seen it since.
Hey girl! Miss you..
1. Love your Scream 4 quote on your ask box.
2. I know your favorite author is Augusten Burroughs and Running With Scissors is one of your favorite films. What other books by him would you like to see adapted? Any ideas as to who you'd want to work on them?
GREAT QUESTION. And I miss you too. Obviously.
Dry would make a FUCKING INCREDIBLE, heartrending film. Seriously, if anyone out there is looking for an amazing book to read, go read Dry. But anyway, it’s being made into a series for Showtime. I would much rather it be a film but idk. I would like his other books to be adapted into series, because he has a lot that are a collection of short stories. I think that would work better for a series. But honestly, whatever he chooses to do I know I will love dearly so it doesn’t even matter. It’s eerie how much I can relate to him and everything he does just gets me.
As for who I’d want to work on it, obviously I would choose you and I. =)
I agree with you completely on Into The Wild. My friend let me borrow it. ive wanted to watch it for years and when i did, I was completely moved. I had to cry because his philosophy was True in Every way. one of the most beautiful films ive seen.
Yes. I think it’s one of those films everybody should see. People who don’t like it seriously get the side eye from me LOL. I hadn’t read the book so when I first saw it and the “Happiness only real when shared” thing came up, it made me cry so hard, it’s just so beautiful. When I saw Up In The Air, another film I adore, and Clooney says the line “When you think about it… the best times in your life… were you alone?” that reminded me of Into the Wild, too. It’s the same point. I love it.
my family and friends, performing, musicmusicmusicmusicmusic, and movies, duh. and i’m about to turn 21 in like a week so right now i’m in this ke$ha phase where all i want to to is run around and party and dance with my friends and crash at randoms places and sing karaoke and be ridiculous, so that makes me reallyreally happy. oh and i like a challenge. a REALLY REALLY good one. (:
http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi2901843225/ = New 3 musketters movie! What a great cast: Logan Lerman, Juno Temple, Orlando Bloom, Milla Jovovich, Matthew Macfadyen (aka Mr. Darcy!)… AAAAAAGH YUMMMM. Especially Logan Lerman! This looks action-tastic and a bit funny as well. You excited? Cos I am!
I absolutely love your enthusiasm… I’m just afraid I don’t share it. I saw this trailer at the cinema the other day and it’s just not my thing. If my friends tell me they loved it though, I may see it when it comes out on DVD.
In response to your other message, that’s AWESOME that they play Almost Famous at your student movie theatre. If I was there I would go every single time haha. Unfortunately I was 10 when that movie played in theatres and I didn’t get to go, but it must be like a religious experience. Or maybe not LOL I’m just too obsessed with it for words so I would be fangirling up a storm. Hope you enjoyed. =)
I love Both Films. I just saw Death Proof for the first time in months last week. But i love Planet Terror More.
I think I might love Planet Terror more too but Death Proof is just so fucking bad ass too. I don’t know. Maybe this weekend I will re-watch them both and decide. Not that I need to… I’m never one to pick a favorite of something anyway.
Oh and in response to your other question about Into The Wild, when that movie came out I pretty much watched in on a loop for months. It’s one of the best films I’ve ever seen. It moves me to tears every single time. It’s just so incredibly beautiful in every way.
Round 8? (6/7) . No clues because I have a feeling this is a easy one. good luck.
"Sigh, My life is not that great. I'm a high school teenager who fell in love with my boyfriend. My boyfriend and I were getting serious. However, my ex-boyfriend was a jealous person. During my prom, my ex came with 4 of his friends and beat up my boyfriend and told him that if they ever see us together they will kill him. Than the 4 started to attack me. The mistake they made was not killing me. After 4 days of healing from my wounds , i learned that my boyfriend was long gone. Now I want revenge. I will now take down the 4 people who scared my boyfriend and after that I will go after my ex. "
I can’t believe I didn’t see this before, sorry! I was away for like 4 days and the messages just stacked up so much I never even saw this until now. And I don’t know which movie this is. I feel like it’s on the tip of my tongue but I can’t quite get it. I’m slipping!
first i wanted to say that i love your tumblr!!! it's definitely one of my favorite tumblrs dedicated to movies out there!
secondly, i was just wondering what you do that you get to meet awesome people like johnny depp and martin scorsese?
keep up the excellent work because i enjoy seeing your posts on my dashboard :)
have a wonderful evening!
Thank you very much :) I appreciate it.
I’m an actress/singer/dancer and I got to do background work on the pilot of Boardwalk Empire for 2 months where I met Marty and learned a lifetime of knowledge from him. It was one of the greatest experiences of my entire life. As for Johnny Depp, I go to a lot of movie premieres and I met him at the Sweeney Todd premiere on Dec 3, 2007. I’ve met/worked with a ton of celebs, and he is by far one of the nicest. Actually, I usually tell people he’s one of the only men I’ve ever met who wasn’t completely full of shit, and I stand by that. =)
I’m glad you enjoy the blog so much. Thanks for the message.
Are there any movies you DON'T like? Seems like you love pretty much every movie ever invented...
With the amount of movies I see, it would be impossible for me to even like them all, nevermind LOVE. However, I try and find good things even in the most terrible of films because of the fact that I work in the business and I realize how much hard work, love, passion, and dedication goes into every movie. I forget about the films I don’t like pretty instantly though, it’s like my brain instantly just spits them right back out after I watch.
The reason why there is so much love expressed for so many movies on this blog is because I made it so I could freely fangirl about stuff, not so I could hate on what I don’t like. I’ve written a few reviews about movies I haven’t liked that came out recently, so if you check out the review tag, you’ll find some there.
